Dr. Singh Tutor is a Surrey tutoring centre built around that belief. Led by Dr. Singh, a BC-certified public school teacher who has been teaching and tutoring in British Columbia since 2014. Our team provides personalized support that complements classroom learning and helps students build stronger skills, greater confidence, and independence.

MEET DR. SINGH
A Teacher First. A Tutor With Purpose.
Dr. Singh combines advanced academic study with firsthand BC classroom experience.
He holds a PhD, Master’s degree, and UBC Bachelor of Education, and has been teaching and tutoring in British Columbia since 2014.
As a BC-certified public school mathematics teacher, Dr. Singh helps students strengthen foundations, understand challenging concepts, and become more confident, independent learners.
His approach focuses on clear explanations and helping students understand the thinking behind the mathematics.

Dr. Singh Tutor supports about 110 tutoring students each year across different grades, subjects, and academic goals.
Some students come to rebuild foundations. Others need support with increasingly challenging coursework, while some are preparing for advanced courses, exams, or future studies.
Whatever brings a student to us, we begin in the same place: understanding what they need now and where they want to go next.

We consider the student’s grade, subject, current challenges, goals, and the type of support they need. Our aim is to match each student with an educator whose experience and teaching approach are a good fit.
Tutoring complements classroom learning by reinforcing important skills and concepts, providing additional explanation and practice, and addressing gaps that may make current coursework more difficult.
We value open communication with families. Parents can discuss questions or concerns with us, and we share relevant observations about progress, strengths, and areas where continued support may be helpful.
